Crushing hills with grit and grace....and an infectious laughter. This is how we will always remember Josee Stone, soaring through the sky and chasing her love of a good trail. Josee was a force of nature and one who left us far too early on May 20, 2020.

Josee loved mountain biking and her mountain biking community. As a new recruit to the Salem Composite Mountain Bike team, she was a fierce competitor as well as a mentor to the up-and-coming new riders. In honor of this bright spot in her life, the Stone family has asked that if you are so moved, you can make a donation in Josee's memory, which will benefit the scholarship program for her beloved mountain bike team, the Salem Composite Descenders.

You can also honor her memory by throwing a leg over your bike and heading out for ride…and when you get to a well-populated area, please sing jingle bells (doesn’t really matter if it’s out of season.
